Your Fat Cells!
During your natural physical development in infancy and adolescence, adipose tissue is growing by a combination of increase in fat cell size and the number of these cells. Once development has come to the end in adults, the number of fat cells remains constant though their volume can increase, and this results in weight gain on the body mass index.
What does Liposuction (Turkey / Istanbul) mean?
Liposuction, also called lipoplasty, liposculpture suction, lipectomy, or lipo, is a type of cosmetic surgery that breaks up and “sucks” or removes fat from the body involving suction of excess fat out of specific areas of your body, such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms or neck. It's done through special canals or absorption through using specially prepared techniques. Excess fat is comfortable and safely removed with this method.
Laser Liposuction in Turkey is Safe & Comfortable for you
Today, we use new methods which are safer and more comfortable for the patient with minimal surgical intervention. This makes Liposuction in Turkey much better than the classic old liposuction. Now, laser liposuction (Turkey / Istanbul) has taken a leap forward as it uses different, more advanced technology than vacuuming. First, the area to undergo liposuction is marked by a specialist doctor with a special marker and the target is determined. Once the area has been identified, the procedure begins with the laser. Laser is better because using laser energy has been shown to stop the normal functioning of fat cells and break them up. Also, laser energy stimulates the dermis and encourages collagen and elastic fiber production. Classic liposuction is the removal of fat from specific areas of the body using large canals. Unfortunately, this suction technique can result in making gaps in the skin and contour problems. It is for this reason that Laser Lipolysis (SlimLipo) is used in our hospitals and medical centers (Turkey / Istanbul) instead of classic liposuction.
Reasons to Have Laser Lipolysis Fat Removal Surgery
Do you get tired and disappointed in diet and exercises? Have you tried many ways to lose weight and can't reach your goal? If YES, Laser lipolysis (SlimLipo) (Turkey / Istanbul) is the best solution for you. Laser lipolysis (SlimLipo) (Turkey / Istanbul) is a very effective method of removing stubborn areas of fat and fat cells that remain and annoy you despite dieting and exercise. The basic principle of the procedure is not only the removal of fat cells, but the procedure also stimulates the production of collagen which makes you gain a more beautiful and youthful appearance. Liposuction (Turkey / Istanbul) is not a weight-loss tool but a cosmetic procedure with subtle effects.
Why do you choose Laser Lipolysis (SlimLipo) (Turkey / Istanbul)?
Laser Lipolysis (SlimLipo) (Turkey / Istanbul) is used for 5 main purposes:
- To remove undesirable deposits of body fat in specific parts of the body, such as the buttocks, abdomen, arms, thighs, hips or neck.
- To reshape the body.
- To enhance the contour of the body.
- To treat loose skin and improve its appearance.
- Used on the armpits to prevent sweating.
Age Range & Conditions to be a candidate for liposuction (Turkey / Istanbul)
The younger the candidate, the better the results. Candidates must be in good health without conditions that could complicate surgery such as restricted blood flow, coronary artery disease, diabetes or a weak immune system. Laser lipolysis (Turkey / Istanbul) is not a solution for weight loss in cases of obesity. It is used to remove pockets of fat that build up in certain areas of the body and disrupt the natural flow of the body. Laser lipolysis (Turkey / Istanbul) is also used to create more flowing body contours and a more proportional appearance, not for general weight loss. One of the criteria of the ideal candidate is the skin’s characteristics. If you have good skin tone and elasticity, the skin is likely to appear smooth. If your skin is thin with poor elasticity, however, the skin in the treated areas may appear loose. It is usually necessary to undergo a tightening procedure on candidates who have poor skin elasticity after removing excess skin. Liposuction doesn't improve cellulite dimpling or other skin surface irregularities. Likewise, liposuction doesn't remove stretch marks.
Type of Anaesthesia & Length of Procedure
The procedure is carried out under either general or local anaesthesia -anesthesia limited to a specific area of your body-, depending on the extent of fat removal. The procedure may last up to several hours depends on the number and size of the areas operated on.
Things to Pay Attention to Post-Surgery
- Avoid sports and intense physical activity for 3-4 weeks following laser lipolysis.
- You must wear tight compression bandaging and the corset provided by the doctor to help reduce swelling and allow your skin time to adapt to its new smoothness for a few weeks.
- Patients should reduce salt, sugar and oils/fats in their meals, have a protein-based diet and drink plenty of water after the operation to help reduce swelling more quickly.
- Patients are advised to exercise and to reduce food consumption to maintain the results of the procedure. As with every operation, it is possible to regain fat in the area operated on. It is impossible for the removed fat cells to be replaced by the body, but the remaining fat cells can increase in volume should the patient consume more calories than necessary.
At the end of the procedure, the areas operated on are bandaged and this bandaging remains in place for 4-5 days. The first dressing change is usually made on the 3rd day. At first, there may be an amount of swelling & bruising and pain, but they will subside and go down quickly within a few days by the aid of medications. On average, you can return to work 3-7 days after the operation and resume your normal activities -including exercise- within a few weeks depending on the number and size of the areas operated on. You may need to wait 3 months to gain the desired appearance and see the full results of the procedure.
